What customer information is required by NESPOT and how will it be used?
The information NESPOT requests for you to be a NESPOT member consists of required items such as name, login ID, password, e-mail address, passport number or Korean Social Security Number, and your credit card information. Credit card information will be used for the billing of NESPOT services.

Will my personal information be given to a third party?
NESPOT will never discloses your personal information to a third party as prescribed by the related laws and regulations without your consent. An exception to disclosure without your consent is by a warrant or in writing signed by the chief of the concerned organization as prescribed by the laws and regulations.
In addition, if it is required for statistics purpose, market survey or analyzing the advertisement effect, we can provide the information in a form that no individual can be identified. Even in this case, the information is provided through the authorized confidentiality agreement.

How can I manage my own information? (Request for Waiver of Agreement, Browsing, Modification and Correction)
Once you are registered as a NESPOT member, you can change your password, suspend or cancel the service, and inquire about or change the subscriber information with your ID and password in "Personal Information Management" in the "Information" section on the NESPOT homepage.
When you withdraw from the membership, we retain your information for 6 months provision for settlement of charges, collection of delayed payment, possible lawsuits or dispute, and other necessities, and then discard it.

Confidentiality Protection
Personal information in NESPOT is basically protected by Login ID and password. Protection of ID and password is the responsibility of the user.
If you disclose your ID or password to other individuals, NESPOT does not take any responsibility. NESPOT never requests passwords by phone or e-mail. Therefore, your ID and password is only for your personal use. It is recommended that you change your password frequently. In case you share a computer with others or use a computer in a public place, you must log out from NESPOT and close the web browser after searching web sites through a NESPOT account. NESPOT has made every effort to maintain security for confidentiality protection through several security functions. Please be very careful not to disclose your personal information.

Operation and Utilization of Cookie
NESPOT uses Cookies to save and bring information at any time in order to provide each and every member with personalized and customized services. Cookies refer to short information recorded on a user's hard disk when the user visits a web site.
Cookies record the user information when he/she first logs onto NESPOT, and allows the user to use NESPOT service without another login request and to use personalized services provided by the contents, using the recorded information. Option for Cookie depends on you. You can allow all Cookies, check whenever a Cookie is saved, or decline all Cookies, by selecting the corresponding option in the web browser. However, if you decline all Cookies, you cannot use any NESPOT services that require login.

Information Protection of Minors
A person under age can become a member of NESPOT only with the agreement of a legal representative, and the procedure is processed by confirming his/her parent's approval by phone.
In addition, NESPOT never shares the minor’s user information with third parties and handles the legal representative's request for browsing, correction and waiver of agreement promptly.
